Block started life as casting # C5AE-A 1965 390 CID service block (NOS)

-         Block hot tanked and magnafluxed

-         Block decked and surfaced

-         Cylinders bored .030” over (for displacement)

-         Mains line honed

-         Main bearing cap bolts replaced with ARP bolts

-         Federal Mogul main bearings

-         Crank turned 10/10” undersize

-         1970 428 SCJ rods –C3AEC-  crank journal end re-bored (corrected 410 CID with SCJ rods)

-         ARP rod bolts

-         TRW wrist pins

-        Speed Pro (TRW) forged aluminum .030” oversize 10:1 compression pistons

-         Plasma Moly alloy piston rings

-  Engine balanced and blueprinted to 3 decimal places (c/w front pulley/damper/flywheel/clutch)

-         ATI Super Damper (NASCAR approved)

-         Melling high volume balanced and blueprinted racing oil pump – deep sump

-         ARP hardened intermediate shaft (oil pump)

-         Oil journals ported/chamfered

-         Edelbrock (ED8835) high volume aluminum polished 428 Police Interceptor water pump
